Ambulance Victoria: Education and discussion about the new online VVED, which allows all Victorians free emergency medical care. Education about what happens with AV when we call for a concussion patient, the steps AV take and what to expect.
The Gums: Bree Childs Oral Heath Therapist has worked in the dental field for over 10 years and has recently completed her bachelor of teaching is now a primary school teacher. She will discuss what to do in a dental emergency, what steps can be taken to avoid dental emergencies and what classifies a dental emergency.
Equip Physiotherapy: Christa Chamberlain director of Equip has over 15 years experience with sports related Physiotherapy. She will present different techniques for shoulder taping and shoulder anatomy.
Back For Life Osteopath: Dr Jake Ballah will discuss how Osteopathy can improve health outcomes. He combines his background in osteopathic principles and passion for sports health to provide individuals with tailored care and exercise plans to achieve their health goals. Jake takes a keen interest in treating sports related complaints and has also completed further training in managing running related presentations.
Elite Podiatry: Dr Loretta McKinnon has been providing podiatry services in the Wimmera for over 20 years and owned Elite podiatry for 10 years with her college Kate Brown. Her area of expertise is mobility and sporting injury. She will present common ankle and feet complaints and how to use tapping techniques for sports related injury to prevent injury and maintain foot health.
